Transportation officials in New Brunswick were bewildered about the existence of a large metal object as they were trying to removed from where it was found, which is next to a highway — but no one knows what it is or where it came from.
The object found at the side of Highway 7, between St. John and Oromocto, near Base Gagetown.
It was described as something that is made out of metal object and it appears to be some sort of storage tank.
The New Brunswick Department of Transportation hauled the object away.
Alycia Bartlett, the Transportation department’s spokeswoman said: “At this point it really is a mystery we are looking into.”
She also added: “Obviously, we would like to find out what happened, too.”
Security officials at Base Gagetown said that the object was in that location for about a month.
It does not believed to be a property from the military, according to the Canadian Forces spokesperson Jamie Donovan.
Donovan added that, their officials are still investigating this bizarre incident.
AIM Recycling Atlantic, St. John’s was also called to investigate whether the metal object found belonged to their metal recycling plant as AIM passes the said highway every single time.
Officials thought that somehow maybe the metal object fell or got lost during AIM’s transport.
But AIM responded saying that it is not aware of any large metal items being lost on their way to the plant.
This is not the first time that an object made out of metal has been found in the most bizarre location.
Previously, a hollow object was found in Florida, it looks like it was washed up on Playalinda Beach in Brevard County.
The officials is Brevard County tagged the metal object as something that belongs to an old ballast tank of a warship.
