Jurupa Unified Mission School is a school located about 50 miles east of Los Angeles. It approximately has 20,000 students.
The school’s mission is to educate each student to the highest levels of academic achievement and prepare students to succeed in life. Develop a strong academic foundation. Supporting a successful transition through academic and social learning.
Out of the 20,000 students and thousands of staff, an animal has been recently added to the list.
A cayote had been spotted several times in recent weeks near the school.
The cayote however was not seen wandering the school grounds which puzzled the staff after they found the animal hiding out in one of its bathroom stalls behind a toilet.
There were reports that a cayote was indeed going around the area as it was spotted several times, but no one knew how it entered the school.
The school staff soon found out that it was a Monday morning when the cayote was spotted within school grounds — and the first time it entered the building.
Officer Will Luna of the Riverside California Animal Services immediately responded to the call made by the staff to remove the so-called intruder.
Animal services then captured the video and posted it in its social media account.
The video shows Officer Luna encountering the coyote in a bathroom stall and successfully ensnaring the animal with a lasso.
He successfully captured the scared coyote, which is believed to be about 9 months old.
Animal services then released the animal in a rural area where they guaranteed and believed that it will no longer return to the school.
Animal Services Director Erin Gettis released a statement assuring the public that no one was harmed in the incident.
“We are pleased that this incident was smooth, and all the children were OK and we were able to get the coyote back to its more natural habitat.”
Incorrect spelling of Coyote in the headline.
The school’s mission is to educate each student to the highest levels of academic achievement. That’s an out, an out lie. They are indoctrinating them into the demonRAT Marxists ideology. It’s CA.
I’m pretty sure the the animal is a coyote not a cayote.
What the hell is a “cayote”???? A COYOTE? You’d think a “news source” would hire people that actually have some common sense about spelling and grammar… just goes to show THE IDIOTS ARE TAKING OVER… smdh
I hope the students in this school, are smarter than the person who wrote this article, and spelled “coyote” wrong!
Go back to school you misspelled coyote
I don’t know who wrote this article but where I’m from we spell Cayote with two o’s as in coyote. Check it out.
How about learning the correct spelling of COYOTE.
Thank goodness all ended well. This lesson taught the students that we can all live side by side and conservation is the best answer.
